When I was in second grade all I ever talked about was becoming a writer. With role models like Jo and Anne, the heroines of Little Women and Anne of Green Gables, such aspirations were doomed to be. I wrote constantly and was so sure of myself in my future plans that I am still flabbergasted to this day that I managed to steer myself so far off course. I've exhausted an incredible gamut of careers and life choices to realize that seven-year-old me knew a lot more than twenty-something me.
Isn't that always the case? I am convinced: children always know much more than adults.
So now I've decided to write. While I might not be able to call it my "career" for some time, it is my passion which I refuse to ignore any longer.

'Somewhere That's Green' is a compilation of stories, important and unimportant, serious and funny, stupid and heartwarming, that occur in my daily life. Each post is named for a reason why I love my husband, but generally it has absolutely nothing to do with him.
Feel free to comment, share in my occasional tears, laugh at my stupidity, and follow along to the places that my daily life takes me (and my Hubby).
